Geeks for Kids helps kids with mobility limitations in the Kansas City area, and they held their Delivery Day on June 1st, followed by Wheels & Wishes. Porsche Kansas City hosted the event with 700 people in attendance. In all, 63 custom electric cars and hundreds of assistive devices were provided to families at no charge. All cars and devices are crafted by professionals and students who volunteer their time. Proceeds support the organization to give kids with movement limitations the freedom to experience their world.
