Heart of America Shakespeare Festival celebrated Valentine’s Day with its annual Romantic Revels gala, which was held at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. The festive evening featured performances by HASF actors, along with a gourmet dinner, a silent auction, and dancing. The McMeel family was recognized with the Founder’s Award for their longstanding support of the Festival. The Honorable Stephanie and Dr. Marc Taormina served as honorary chairmen of the event that supports the Festival’s year-round education initiatives and the upcoming 34th season production of Macbeth.
