Hunter Tivol McGrath
Here’s to a gem of a guy! The next time you’re at Tivol in the Hawthorne Plaza, you may see a young man who bears a strong resemblance to Cathy Tivol and her father, Harold Tivol. Hunter Tivol McGrath is joining the company as the fourth-generation of the 100-year-old family business. He is the great-grandson of Charles Tivol, founder. Hunter earned both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master of science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri — Kansas City. Prior to joining Tivol, he was pursuing a career as a certified public accountant. Hunter himself understands the importance of fine jewelry — just ask his wife, Gloria Olsen McGrath. (We’re betting her rings are beautiful!)
