The Salvation Army is pleased to announce that former First Lady Mrs. George W. Bush will be the keynote speaker at its 2014 Civic Luncheon. A member of The Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board, Mrs. Bush has championed key issues in the fields of education, health care and human rights. The Salvation Army will present The William Booth Award to Jinny McCoy and The Others Award to Black & Veatch at the annual event, to be held on May 8th at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center.
