Jackson County CASA – 18th annual Carnival for CASA
Jackson County CASA’s 18th annual Carnival for CASA was held recently at Faulkner’s Ranch. Among the guests were more than 200 children who have participated in CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and their caregivers. The fun included lunch, the Jumbo Jumper, the ZipLine, and the cornhole cannon. There was quite a variety of animals in the petting zoo – goats, alpacas, sheep, and miniature highland cows. In addition, there were rides on ponies and in pedal cars, a LEGO station, a craft station, and face-painting and hair-painting. Proceeds will be used to further the organization’s mission to provide trained volunteers to advocate for a majority of the children who are in foster care in Jackson County, Missouri.
