Jackson County CASA – Light of Hope Breakfast

2026 Issues

April 28th was the date for Jackson County CASA’s Light of Hope Breakfast, which was held at Loews Kansas City Hotel. The event honored CASA Volunteer Patty Woods with the Teresa Rabideau Award for Volunteer Excellence, and Patty and Don Kincaid received the Light of Hope Award. Vic Wavada served as honorary chair. Proceeds support CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to help recruit and train more than 300 volunteers who will represent more than 1,400 children in foster care this year.
