Celebrating its seventh year of Our Town’s only single-gender, public charter school, Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy will host its annual Leading With Love event to raise funds for the school led by a mission to prepare scholars to use their voices, succeed academically, and lead impactful, meaningful lives. Founder and Board Chair Christine Kemper joins Co-chairs Thalia Cherry, Karen Daniel, Raven Jemison, Holly Post, and Martha Salinas in leading the event. Committee members gathered recently to kick off planning for the gala, which will take place on September 5th at Loews Kansas City Hotel, and promises a delightful evening of festivities and fellowship.
