Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy – Leading With Love
Nearly 500 people gathered at Loews Kansas City Hotel to celebrate Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy’s first five years of service to our community at its Leading With Love galaon September 6th. The highlight of the evening was the heartfelt testimony by student Kei’Mauri Brown and her mother, Gloria. Founder and Board Chair Christine Kemper led the event with Co-chairs Ellen Bresky, Eli Bresky, Kim Alexis Newton, Nikki Newton, Teri Miller, and Julie Quirin. Our Town’s only single-gender, public charter school’s mission is to prepare young women to use their voices, to succeed in college, and to lead impactful, meaningful lives.
