The Museum of Kansas City
A hearty congratulations is due to the Kansas City Museum, as it celebrates its 85th anniversary and embarks on some wonderful additions and changes to the must-visit treasure in Our Town. To be known in the future as The Museum of Kansas City, there are myriad plans afoot – a special 10th anniversary Derby Party; restoration and rehabilitation of four historic buildings; new media interactive exhibits; and the inauguration of a workforce and career development program for youth and young adults, ages 13-23. Here’s to the next 85 years of The Museum of Kansas City!
