Kansas City Young Matrons is pleased to announce that Deana Fisher has been selected as its new president. She has been a member since 2018, and she has held several positions, including luncheon reservations chair, website chair, director of property management, director of membership, and president-elect. Deana has lived in Kansas City since 1989 with her husband, David, and their four children: Melissa, Natalie, Craig, and Tyler. The Kansas City Young Matrons organization was established in 1917 and has continuously provided philanthropic services to the Kansas City community. The volunteer organization consists of more than 300 women who help community members in need. For more than 100 years, KCYM has partnered with established, non-profit institutions throughout the greater Kansas City area. Members contribute their time and talents in ways that are not always seen, but felt, one woman and child at a time.
