May 1st was the date when supporters of KC Pet Project gathered at the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care for the Kick-off Party for the organization’s LOVE FINDS A WAY gala. The biennial event will be held on August 16th at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center. Jami and Fred Pryor are serving as the honorary chairs. The veritable litter of “Champion Chairs” includes Kimberlee Ried and Erik Bergrud, Kathleen Boyle Dalen and Jason Dalen, Jenny and Warren Erdman, Gayle and Bruce Krigel, Brenda and Bret Pozek, Susan Surber, Donna Thomason, Joni and Fred Wickham, and Kristi and Jerry Wyatt. Proceeds help to provide lifesaving services to more than 16,000 animals in our community annually.
