KC Shepherd’s Center – Prom with a Purpose

September 30th was the date for Prom with a Purpose, which was held at the Hy-Vee Arena. The fun-filled evening prompted guests to relive high school prom days, while helping KC Shepherd’s Center’s mission of empowering, celebrating, and serving older adults in our community. Crowned Junior Prom King and Queen were Ryan Long and Ryana Parks-Shaw; and crowned Senior Prom King and Queen were Dr. Lee Norman and Melinda Ryder. Joanne Collins and Alvin Brooks served as honorary co-chairs.
