March of Dimes – Future of Nursing Awards Gala
October 25th was the date for the March of Dimes’ Future of Nursing Awards Gala. Felisha McDougald was the honorary chairman, and Dr. Karen Cox, Children’s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics; served as the chairman of the event which was held at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. Awards were presented to 17 nurses from a variety of practice settings. Bonnie and Mark Barnes, the DAISY Foundation; were the keynote speakers.
