Newhouse Shelter
Becky Blades and a group of women from the Kansas City Young Matrons recently led a project with Newhouse Shelter residents and staff. About 20 people came together to contribute to a community canvas. Everyone took turns adding brush strokes to the painting. The finished product was a wonderful piece of artwork which now hangs in the shelter.
