Rising Star Reflections – Christina Eldridge
Christina Eldridge has been volunteering for the Medical Missions Foundation (MMF), an organization that sends teams of medical volunteers to developing countries around the world, since 2009 and has been the mission coordinator for the annual trip to Mali, West Africa for three years. She’s been in charge of recruiting the medical team, coordinating with the country’s government, budgeting and fundraising, and setting up many more projects for the trip. She takes pride in volunteering because she gains satisfaction from improving the health of more than 10,000 people through medical procedures and education. Christina is also a Senior Director of Development at Saint Luke’s Foundation, avid traveler, and mom to Ethan, Rockhurst freshman; and Brooke, a 6th grader at Visitation.
