Solace House Center for Grief and Healing – Solace Sensation

Bridget and John Brandmeyer served as the honorary chairmen for Solace Sensation, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Solace House Center for Grief and Healing, a program of Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. Nicole Pierce and Pam Martin were the co-chairmen for the event, which was held on April 28th at Boulevard Brewing Company. The honorees were Sherry Ainsworth and Eddy Scanlon, volunteers; along with Colleen Millet-Pelz and Janie Ewell, co-founders of Solace House. John Holt was the emcee for the festivities, which featured a “Rio Carnival” theme, the musical stylings of Drew Six and magic by Victor La’Yon.
