Spotlight on Centurions – Marc Shaffer
Wildcat! Marc Shaffer is a Kansas State University graduate who stays true to his roots. He is a past president of the school’s human ecology alumni advisory board. Marc is the incoming president for the Kansas State University personal financial planning advisory board, and he serves on the Kansas City K-State alumni planning committee. He received the 2011 KSU Entrepreneur Award, an honor given to alumni members who have applied their knowledge as business owners and who serve their community, profession and university. Marc is a principal at Searcy Financial and a member of the Centurions, class of 2019. His plans for 2018 include marriage to Bridgette Casey, director of the Jackson County Health Department; and a trip to Africa.
