Stems: A Garden Soirée
Stems: A Garden Soirée was recently hosted by the Arts & Recreation Foundation of Overland Park. The event featured delicious cuisine from 18 local restaurants and music from Funk Syndicate and the David Basse Orchestra. Wanda and Steve Wilkinson were the honorary chairmen and Nancy and Ken Mellard and Marga and Rich Spangler served as co-chairmen. Over the past five years, the event has raised $1.1 million to support the Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead and public art and programs in Overland Park.
