The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri
The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, has been a supporter of the Kansas City Zoo and its educational programs since 1967. Jazzoo was founded by the JLKCMO in 1990 as a fundraiser for the newly-developed Zoo Learning Fund. In honor of the JLKCMO’s 100th anniversary, the League gave the Zoo $1 million, which will be used to create the Zoo’s new cold water penguin exhibit.
