The Kansas City Rose Society – Annual Luncheon
The Carriage Club was the site for The Kansas City Rose Society’s Annual Luncheon on November 1st. Special guest Diane Sommers, the American Rose Society president, presented Taylor Smith with the ARS Rising Star Award, one of only five awards given to individuals in the United States! Also recognized were Joan Sherman, past board president; who received the ARS Bronze Award for outstanding service; and Sandy Campuzano, past board president; who was honored with the first KCRS Gratitude for Service Award. A welcome reception for Diane was held prior to the event at the lovely home of Lauren and Richard English.
