More than 250 guests gathered at The National World War I Museum and Memorial for the opening of the debut exhibition in the new Wylie Gallery, John Singer Sargent Gassed. The exhibition features John Singer Sargent’s extraordinary painting, Gassed, from the Imperial War Museums in London. The magnificent work, never seen before in the Midwest, features many themes of war.
