The Crescendo gala was a glorious affair, hosted by UMKC and the Friends of the Conservatory, held at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art on November 9th. Vignettes showcasing the talents of the Conservatory were held throughout the Museum, as well as during the elegant dinner. Honorary Chairs Patty and Jerry Reece, Event Chairs Melanie and Jim Rine, and Friends of the Conservatory President Ayca Cil produced an evening that brought the senses alive and garnered funds to support scholarships for students in the Conservatory’s departments of music, dance, and theatre.
