Wayside Waifs’ Fur Ball Gala: Mardi Paws celebration was held on May 10th at the Overland “Bark” Convention Center! Partygoers dressed in their New Orleans finest, and enjoyed lavish sets, food and drink, auctions, and a wonderful program. Lauren McCarthy Scimeca and Ross Scimeca were the event chairs, and Carolyn Long served as the emcee. Proceeds from the event will serve more than 30,000 pets and people through pet adoptions, youth education, canine training programs, and community programming.
