September 24th is the date for the Kansas City Rose Society’s Wine & Roses, a benefit for the Laura Conyers Smith Municipal Rose Garden. Anita and Gerald Gorman are the honorary chairmen, and Cindy Lang is serving as the chairman of this year’s elegant garden party, to be held in the Rose Garden in Loose Park. Guests will enjoy delicious fare from Lon Lane’s Inspired Occasions and entertainment from the Mike White Quartet.
