2014 Crescendo – Jacob Funk
Deanna and Greg Graves are the honorary chairmen, and Katherine and Jim Schorgl are serving as the chairmen of UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance’s 2014 Crescendo. The November 7th event will be held at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The exciting evening showcases the amazing students and faculty in a dynamic performance. Jacob Funk is one of these talented students. He is studying toward his doctor of musical arts degree in choral conducting. Jacob said, “I came to the Conservatory because I was looking for a place that would challenge me and give me a chance to be on the podium as much as possible. My professors are true masters of their craft, and the excellence of the singers at UMKC is widely known. I am thrilled to be a part of the University.”
