Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Davis!
Catherine Gale Cooling and Steven James Davis were married on May 19th at Southmoreland Park in Our Town. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Cooling of Kansas City, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Gale Dietrich of Kansas City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester Joseph Cooling. Her groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Carl George Davis of Daphne, Alabama, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Young Guin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Davis. The evening prior, Dr. and Mrs. Carl Davis hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Webster House. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. James Cooling feted the couple with a reception at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. Members of the wedding party included matrons of honor Sara Cooling Trucksess and Lisa Cooling Lane, sisters of the bride; and best men Jonathan Davis and Allan Davis, brothers of the groom; and James W. J. Cooling, brother of the bride. The happy couple honeymooned in Spain and is at home in Alexandria, Virginia, where Catherine is careering with the U.S. Dairy Export Council and Steven is employed with Lockheed Martin.
