Mary McGilley of Leawood and Mr. John Martin Garlich, Jr., of Saint Louis, Missouri, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Marie Garlich, to Jake Michael Box, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Box of Ipswich, England. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Marilyn Muehlbach McGilley of Our Town, the late John William McGilley, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Martin Garlich, Sr. Jeni is a graduate of Blue Valley North High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in English Literature from the University of Missouri. Jeni is careering with Heart Dealer Financial Services in Saint Louis.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Jack Macro of Ipswich, England, and the late Mr. Macro. Jake is a graduate of Copleston High School in Ipswich. He earned a bachelor of science degree in microbiology and virology from Warwick University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Southwest Minnesota State University. Jake is the owner of Box & Associates in Webster Groves, Missouri. Theirs will be a June 22nd wedding at The Jewel Box in Forest Park, Saint Louis.
