Nonprofit Connect – 27th Annual Philanthropy Awards Luncheon

The 27th Annual Philanthropy Awards Luncheon was held on May 13th at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center Hotel.  Richard Carrothers and Dennis Hennessy were the honorary co-chairmen, and Heather Jean-Paul Wong served as the chairmen.  Mary and Alan Atterbury were honored as Philanthropists of the Year.  Katie and Clyde Wendel were acclaimed as Volunteers of the Year.  John Bluford was heralded as Nonprofit Professional of the Year.  Hallmark Cards was named Business Philanthropist of the Year.  This year’s Rising Stars of Philanthropy were Jamie Berg, Lisa Hallier, Sheri Johnson, Erin Mos, Kathy Schikevitz, Laura Curry Sloan, Rob Smith, and Mary and Richard Wetzel.
