Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Lane!
On July 17th, Emily Anne Lykens and John Stewart Lane were united in matrimony at Emerald Mountain Overlook Chapel in Estes Park, Colorado. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Lykens of Fairway. Emily is the granddaughter of Mrs. Allen Lykens of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and the late Mr. Lykens and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Pershing Brown. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Lane III of Our Town. Stewart is the grandson of Mrs. Alonzo Lane, Jr. of Inverness, Florida, and the late Mr. Lane and the late Mr. and Mrs. F. John Jones. The officiant was the Reverend Adam Johnson, chaplain of the YMCA of the Rockies. Andrew Lykens, brother of the bride; served as gentleman of honor, and Lauren Lane, sister-in-law of the groom; was the bridesmaid. Lon Lane IV, brother of the groom; served as the best man. Brian Sack was the groomsman. Emily and Stewart are at home in Kansas City, where they are careering with Lon Lane’s Inspired Occasions. The happy couple is planning a honeymoon early next year.
