Heart of America Shakespeare Festival – Romantic Revels Black and White Ball
Heart of America Shakespeare Festival’s Romantic Revels Black and White Ball was held on February 15th at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza. Dr. Roopa Bansal was the honorary chairman. Kelly and Joe Privitera received the Founder’s Award. Guests imbibed the signature cocktail, The Tempest, named for the upcoming summer production. Highlights of the evening included a three-course dinner with a decadent black-and-white dessert, a silent auction, dancing, and a visit from Good Will himself. The Patrons’ Party hosts were Barbara and Bob Bloch. Proceeds support the Festival’s summer production and year-round education programs.
