Kansas City Ballet Guild – Nutcracker Ball

Loews Kansas City Hotel was the site of the Kansas City Ballet Guild’s Nutcracker Ball on November 20th. Michael D. Fields served as the honorary chairman, and Karen Yungmeyer and Tempe Ostergren Elsberry were the co-chairmen. Peggy Beal, Guild president, and Jeffrey J. Bentley, Kansas City Ballet, presented the Pirouette Award to Dr. John D. Hunkeler. The Guild also recognized Jeffrey J. Bentley for being honored by the Missouri Arts Council and the State of Missouri with the 2022 Missouri Arts Award for Leadership in the Arts. The evening featured a performance by the Second Company of the Kansas City Ballet, as well as cocktails, dinner, beautiful decor from Craig Sole Designs, and entertainment by the Fountain City 45s.
