The 72nd BOTAR Ball

October 15th was the date for the 72nd BOTAR Ball, which was held at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The Ball had a chinoiserie theme, enhanced by panels commemorating Our Town’s landmarks. The lovely floral design was created by The Little Flower Shop. The BOTARs of 2022 were attired in stunning fuschia gowns, adding high contrast to the white, light blue, and navy blue decorations. Following the presentation of the BOTARs, Escorts, and Pages, there was the traditional waltz – this time, enlivened with west coast swing and performed on a dance floor that featured a hand-drawn BOTAR logo. Mrs. Dallas Polen III is this year’s BOTAR president.
