Children’s Mercy Hospital – Children’s Relief Association

The Children’s Relief Association (CRA) promotes the health and well-being of the children and families served by Children’s Mercy Hospital through charitable and volunteer activities. Since 1922, CRA, and its predecessor, Mercy Auxiliary, have provided volunteer services and allocated more than $4.1 million to Children’s Mercy Hospital. The organization’s 300 current active and associate members are celebrating 100 years of service to the Hospital.

Members of the CRA board hosted a Virtual Spring Meeting at the Children’s Mercy Research Institute. Pictured are: (Front row) Peggy Rooney, Heather Nana, Pam Olander, and Page Reed, CRA members (back row) Betsy Fountain, Kara Harmon, Jenn Johnson, Amy Sullivan, Patty Mach, and Paige Bennish, CRA members.

CRA Members Maureen Kempinski, Doe Loftus, Bridget Wagstaff, Carolyn Parkerson, and Julie Foster were photographed in the Children’s Mercy gift shop, which is made possible by CRA support.

Julie Foster, CRA member; Nicole Thimmesch and Amy Ricketts, scholarship recipients; and Peggy Rooney, CRA member; celebrated past CRA nursing scholarships.
