Amy Lee Middleton and James Paul Uhlmann will be united in matrimony at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art on January 21st. The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Verne Middleton. Amy is the granddaughter of the late Edith Delores Lyle, Mrs. Jack Lee Lyle of Maryville, Missouri, and the late Mr. Lyle, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Edward Middleton. Her groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Uhlmann III of Mission Hills, Kansas. James is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wollman Bloch and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Uhlmann, Jr.
Amy is a graduate of Kearney High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration and management from Park University. Amy is employed with NorthPoint Development in Kansas City, Missouri. James is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He was a member of The Jewel Ball floor committee in 2012 and was a BOTAR escort in 2015. James earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from The University of Kansas. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Paradigm Food Group in Kansas City.
