Congratulations, Ellie and Jack!

Amy McLiney Hart of Kansas City, Missouri, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Ellen Joy Hart, to John Fredrick Logan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick James Logan, Jr. of Leawood, Kansas. The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Mr. Kevin Mark Hart. Ellie is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Joseph McLiney, Jr. of Kansas City, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hart. She is a graduate of St. Teresa’s Academy. Ellie earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Dayton and a master’s degree in social work from The University of Kansas. She is a BOTAR, class of 2014, and a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Ellie is careering with the Park Hill School District. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Vernon Hochscheid of Prairie Village, Kansas, and the late Mr. Hochscheid, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick James Logan. Jack is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He was a member of the Jewel Ball floor committee and an escort in 2011. Jack received a bachelor of arts degree from Miami University and a juris doctor degree from The University of Kansas. Jack was a BOTAR escort in 2014. A member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, he is employed with Logan Logan & Watson in Prairie Village. The couple is planning a December wedding at Visitation Church in Kansas City.
