Congratulations, Grace & Charles!

Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Wiley Curran of Fairway, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Grace Lane Curran, to Mr. Charles Atlas Ward, the son of Mr. Christopher John Ward of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Page Crowther of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Patrick Curran of Mission Hills, Kansas. Gracie is a graduate of Pembark Hill in Kansas City. She earned a bachelor of science degree in canine fashion design from Wagslley College. Gracie is a member of Alpha Barc Chu sorority and was the first runner up in the 2015 Miss AmeriPaw Pageant. She careers as a fashion designer at Neiman Barcus in Dallas, Texas.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John David Ward of Mission Hills. Charlie is a graduate of Pembark Hill in Kansas City. He attended Sitandstay Hall University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in canine sports medicine. Charlie completed his post graduate work at the University of California — Barkley, earning a masters degree in canine behavior health science. He is a member of Beta Chu fraternity and is employed with Fitbite in San Francisco, California. The couple will meet at the altar on October 14th at The Loretto in Our Town.
