Congratulations, Megan & Jason!

Mr. and Mrs. David George Liechti of Saint Joseph, Missouri, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Brooke Liechti, to Jason Douglas Switzer, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Edward Switzer of Leawood. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Richard Fischer and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Edward Liechti. Megan is a graduate of Saint Joseph Central High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Missouri. Megan is a BOTAR, class of 2012. She is a member of Delta Gamma sorority. Megan is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice Program at The University of Kansas Medical Center.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Paul Louis Rupp, Jr. of Leawood and the late Mr. Rupp, and Mrs. Gerald Wayne Switzer of Chillicothe, Missouri, and the late Mr. Switzer. Jason is a graduate of Rockhurst High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Missouri. Jason is a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. He is employed with Kimberly-Clark Professional. Theirs will be a September 30th wedding at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Redemptorist Catholic Church.
