Congratulations, Riley & Tucker!

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Craig Hunter of Prairie Village, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Riley Anne Hunter, to William Tucker Bates. Tucker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Koester, Jr., of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mr. William B. Bates, of Jefferson City, Missouri. Riley is the granddaughter of Mrs. Byron Duncan of Prairie Village, Kansas, and the late Mr. Duncan; and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hunter. Tucker is the grandson of Louise Wagnon of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mr. Ray Sisson of St. Joseph, Missouri; and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hubert Bates.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School, and she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from The University of Kansas, as well as a doctorate of nurse anesthesia practice. She is a BOTAR, class of 2017. Tucker is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School and The University of Kansas, where he received a bachelor’s degree in industrial design. He was a Gentleman of The Jewel Ball in 2017. Riley is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, and Tucker is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.  

Riley is employed with The University of Kansas Health System, and Tucker is employed with Hufft Architects. Riley and Tucker will meet at the altar of Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, Kansas, on April 18th to exchange wedding vows.
