Congratulations, Sara & Andrew!

Mr. and Mrs. David George Liechti of Saint Joseph, Missouri, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Ashley Liechti, to Andrew Stephen Carlson, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Ray Carlson of Mission Hills. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Richard Fischer and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Edward Liechti. Sara is a graduate of Saint Joseph Central High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the University of Missouri and a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Sara is a BOTAR, class of 2011, and a member of Delta Gamma sorority. She is a clinical pharmacy specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Michael Gillespie and the late Dr. and Mrs. Raymond Andrew Carlson. Andrew is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Missouri. Andrew is a sales representative with Stryker Orthopedics in Houston. Theirs will be a November 11th wedding at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
