Jackson County CASA – Cocktails for CASA
October 16th was the date for Jackson County CASA’s Cocktails for CASA. The second annual event featured cocktail and dinner kits prepared by Mixologist Leslie Newsam Goellner and Chef Nick Goellner, both of The Antler Room. Participants picked up fresh pasta and cocktail kits and then tuned in for the program that included a behind-the-scenes look at how the pasta and cocktails were prepared. Proceeds support CASA’s mission to be a child’s voice in court. The organization recruits, trains, and supports lay volunteers who act as advocates on behalf of the best interests of abused and neglected children in our community.
