The Symphony League – Symphony Ball, “Royal Gala – Let’s Have a Ball”
The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts was the site for The Symphony League’s Symphony Ball, “Royal Gala – Let’s Have a Ball.” Marny and John Sherman were the Ball honorary chairs, and Sue Ann Fagerberg and Ursula Terrasi served as the Ball co-chairs of the September 10th event. The sold-out evening honored Our Town’s history as a baseball and music town, celebrating the Kansas City Royals and the musical culture that started at 18th and Vine. Guests enjoyed a Symphony performance in Helzberg Hall, which was led by Maestro Michael Stern and featured Lonnie McFadden and Bobby Watson. Brandmeyer Great Hall was transformed into a vintage-style supper club by Studio Dan Meiners, and partygoers enjoyed dinner, more musical entertainment, and dancing.
