Nearly 900 guests, including President Truman’s grandson, Clifton Truman Daniel, attended the 27th annual Wild About Harry event on April 23rd at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The event raised funds for civics and history programs to benefit the Truman Library. Karen and Steve Pack and Amy and Zachary Pack served as co-chairs, and Marny and John Sherman were the honorary chairs. The evening’s highlight was a conversation onstage between David Rubenstein, 2026 Harry S. Truman Legacy of Leadership Award honoree, and Douglas Brinkley.
