Kansas City Young Audiences – Spark the Arts in Young Hearts
Kansas City Young Audiences (KCYA) hosted its biennial luncheon, Spark the Arts in Young Hearts, on October 9th at the Uptown Theater. Linda and Steve Taylor were the honorary chairmen. Rebecca Dempsey was honored with the Lighton Prize for Teaching Artist Excellence, Lester Morris received the Distinguished Educator Award and Debby Ballard was presented with the Trudy Award. Proceeds support KCYA arts education programs throughout Kansas City.
