Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Matthew Patane of St. Louis, Missouri, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Josie Marie Patane, to Ryan Gibson Metzler, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert James Metzler. The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Rebecca Patane. Josie is the granddaughter of Mrs. Angelo Patane of Sarasota, Florida, and the late Mr. Patane and the late Mr. and Mrs. Loren Unser. Josie is a graduate of Visitation Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. She  earned a bachelor of accountancy and a master of accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a juris doctorate from the Wake Forest University School of Law. Josie is careering as an attorney with Husch Blackwell.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mackay and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Metzler. Ryan is a graduate of Rockhurst High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego and a juris doctorate from the Wake Forest University School of Law. Ryan is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and is employed as an attorney with Polsinelli Shughart. Theirs will be a May 4th wedding at the Shrine of St. Joseph in St. Louis, Missouri.
